Our Favorite Spring Recipes

by | Aug 15, 2019 | News & Events

When seasons change, so do our palates and our appetites. While we craved rich, hearty comfort foods in winter, as spring approaches, we find ourselves longing for bright green vegetables, crisp salads and simple, farm fresh ingredients.

Living in Norfolk, VA means being surrounded by a variety of local farm markets, like Five Points Community Farm Market and the St. Paul’s Downtown Farm Market. As spring arrives in our city, it brings with it a bounty of ripe, local fruits and vegetables, including bright, green may peas, fresh asparagus, juicy beets, sweet artichokes and an array of delicious greens, like arugula, swiss chard and more.

Bring spring directly into your kitchen and home, and switch up your regular menu with these delightful, fresh and diverse spring recipes. Crunchy textures, zesty flavors and totally unexpected meal ideas await in this list of our favorite spring recipes. Enjoy!
