Living in Norfolk comes with so many perks, including convenient access to some of the area's best restaurants for breakfast, dinner and, our favorite, lunch. When it's time to get your midday meal fix on, you've got options in every direction, and all just minutes from your front door.

Make your working lunch as memorable as it is fast, or relax and savor every bite over a long, weekend lunch at some of our favorite, nearby restaurants and lunch spots. Excellent service, delivery and easy pickup make it easy to grab a great lunch on the go, while charming seating and a friendly and cheerful waitstaff make it just as fun to stay in and take your time.

When the clock strikes lunchtime, don't wonder where to go to fuel up for the rest of your day. Hop in your car and drive just a few minutes away and grab a great meal at any of our preferred lunch spots...

Your Pie
When we need to get our pizza, panini and gelato fix on, we're just 5 minutes away from some of the best. Your Pie's paninis, salads, pizzas and frozen treats are delicious and can be ordered online for convenient, easy pick up. We love bullding our own pizza when we're feeling picky, and on hot summer days, their gelato and sorbet are the perfect way to cool down.

Guad's on Granby
You don't have to drive south of the border to get your hands on authentic, fresh mexican food. A short walk or drive down Granby Street to Wards Corner will lead you directly to Guad's for fresh guacamole, taquitos, chimichangas, piping hot fajitas and a dynamite taco bar. Their friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make Guad's a great place to kick back, relax and make the most of your lunch hour.

Wan Shung
Some days, you need General Tso's Chicken and a few egg rolls to get you through the day, and we're lucky that we're just moments away from Wan Shung and their delicious menu of your favorite chinese dishes. With speedy delivery or pickup, you can grab takeout when you don't have time to spare. When you want to stay and eat in, their friendly staff will make you feel right at home.

Doumar's
Whether you want to dine in, eat curb side or take out, this Norfolk original is home to some of the area's best barbeque, creamy shakes, limeade and hamburgers. It's also the birthplace of the waffle cone, so when you want dessert with a side of lunch, you'll want to head here.

Handome Biscuit
You'll need a big appetite to finish the enormous and one-of-a-kind sweet potato biscuits at local favorite, Handsome Biscuit. Whether you want sweet or savory, you'll get a hearty portion made fresh, and you can eat outside on picnic tables, inside the restaurant or take it on the go. Expect leftovers and return visits in your future.

Taste
Whether you want fresh, chopped salads, hearty, homemade sandwiches, delicious cold salads, famous pimento cheese and toast or prepared meals, gourmet goodies and a nice bottle of wine, you can find it all at Taste. Friendly staff and a fast turnaround on orders mean you can zip in and pick up to go when you need to run, or stay and enjoy the bright atmosphere. Just a short drive from our front doors, you can be there and back in 20 minutes if you time it right.
